Synaura — Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Synaura iOS application (the “App”), edited by Milex (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you accept these Terms.

1. License

Synaura grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on iOS devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to the Apple App Store Terms of Service. This license does not include the right to resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App.


2. Subscriptions (Pro / Pro+)

Synaura offers auto-renewable subscriptions:

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged at confirmation of purchase and for renewal.

Free trial. If you start a free trial, it converts automatically to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You may not be eligible for more than one free trial per subscription group.

Manage, cancel, refund. Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To manage, change, or cancel, open iOS Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → Synaura. Refund requests are handled by Apple: https://support.apple.com/HT204084


3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate your access to server-side features (e.g. Radar relays) if you violate these Terms.


4. Content you create

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (journal entries, captured moments, dreams, photos). Synaura does not claim ownership of your content and does not publish it anywhere without your explicit action.


5. Astrology, biorhythms, health correlations

Synaura’s astrological readings, biorhythm analyses, personal-signature correlations and AI coaching are provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes. They do not constitute medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice. If you have a health concern, consult a qualified professional.

HealthKit integration is read-only (optionally write-only for mood logging if you enable it) and never replaces medical diagnosis or treatment.


6. Third-party AI providers (optional)

If you enable cloud AI fallback and paste an API key from Anthropic or OpenAI, your use of their service is governed by their terms:

Synaura is not responsible for the availability, quality, or behavior of third-party AI responses.


7. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.


8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Milex shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.


9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, when changes are material, surface a notice inside the App. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.


10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For consumers residing in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

11. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Milex only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
